Dr. Clare Hunter is an experienced clinical pharmacist with expertise in navigating the world of prescription benefits and managed care pharmacy. Her clinical background, coupled with industry insight help customers and clients to better understand and offset their risk, while offering competitive benefits to their membership. Hunter maintains an active pharmacy and immunization pharmacists license in New York State and is a member of several professional organizations. Additionally, she is active within the western New York community and serves as a board member to the Hemophilia Treatment Center of Western New York.
Hunter has 10+ years in community pharmacy, 1 year of TPA experience and 6+ years as a pharmacy benefits manager/managed care. She also has a New York State Pharmacist APhA Medication Therapy Management accreditation. Hunter earned her MBA and Pharm.D. degree from the University at Buffalo. At Arxcel, Hunter has been working closely with clients to help them manage their risk and offer high-quality prescription benefits to their employees.
