Collier is the president and CEO of the Mid America Coalition on Health Care. He is a veteran employee benefit executive with significant track record of building and aligning teams to achieve dramatic bottom-line results. He is experienced at building consensus and inspiring mutually beneficial action among diverse health care stakeholders, including employers, health delivery systems, professionals, payors and broker/consultants. Collier uses his 30+ years’ experience in health benefit strategy, design and collaborative partnerships with various business groups to inspire confidence, lead by example, and foster an atmosphere of accountability and trust. Collier is recognized for rapidly establishing credibility with key decision-makers and gaining commitment of cross-functional resources.
Prior to joining the Coalition, Collier was Director Benefits at Sprint/T-Mobile leading a team of 30 health and wellbeing, retirement, disability/leave and benefit administration professionals. He previously had similar responsibilities at Westar Energy. Collier has served on Board of MACHC for many year, including Board Chair for 2 terms, as well as the Advisory Board for Center for Workplace Mental Health.
Collier received a Master’s in Labor and Human Resource Management from The Ohio State University and BA in Psychology from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.
