Scott Robertson, Pharm.D., RPh, FHL7, GISP, CISSP

Dr. Scott Robertson, is the principal technology consultant in Health IT Strategy & Policy (HITSP) at Kaiser Permanente (KP). He represents KP in a number of health IT standards development organizations addressing clinical and technical issues as well as analyzing related policy and regulation. Dr. Robertson’s areas of focus include pharmacy, medical devices, genomics, security, emergency management and bridging between clinical and technical domain experts. He holds CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and GISP (GIAC Information Security Professional) certifications. Dr. Robertson has performed these health IT duties for more than 20 of his 30 years with KP. Previous roles include manager of outpatient pharmacy application for KP Southern California, inpatient and outpatient pharmacist and adjunct clinical professor at University of Southern California School of Pharmacy.
