Chris Syverson has held senior leadership in various and varied organizations including health care (Washoe Medical Center, now Renown), automotive (Porsche Enterprises, Incorporated), high tech (Intuit), and municipal government (City of Sparks, Nevada).
Now serving as the chief executive officer of Nevada Business Group on Health/Nevada Health Partners, Syverson leads a group of public and private employers in direct contracting for health care services as well as employee and community health.
Syverson also serves on the Executive Committee of the Board for the National Alliance of HealthCare Purchasing Coalitions, as the secretary/treasurer. Additionally she is the vice chair of the Nevada Community Board for CoMagine Health, and serves on the Nevada Advisory Council on the state Program for Wellness and the Prevention of Chronic Disease.
Syverson has a degree in managerial sciences from the University of Nevada Reno, as well as a certificate in public administration, certificate in international employee benefits and is a certified compensation professional at the American Compensation Association. She has been granted a lifetime achievement award from the Society of Human Resource Managers.
