Sarah Fogler, PhD, is the deputy director for the Patient Care Models Group in the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Before this, she was the senior director of population health & community benefit at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center.
From July 2011 to May 2018, Dr. Fogler held various roles at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, including deputy director of the Performance-Based Payment Policy Group, director of the Division of Shared Savings Program, lead of the Pioneer Accountable Care Organization Model and program manager of the Office of the Administrator. In addition, she was the director of resident services at HCR Manor Care.
Dr. Fogler received her bachelor of arts from McDaniel College and master of arts from Boston University. She received her doctor of philosophy in Health Policy at the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
