LT Derrick Walston, Pharm.D., is a Public Health Service pharmacist who currently serves as a clinical pharmacist at the United States Penitentiary in Atlanta, Georgia, where he works under a collaborative practice agreement that includes hepatitis, HIV, and diabetes. In addition to his institutional role, he serves as one of the regional HIV pharmacists in the Federal Bureau of Prisons, which has maintained undetectable viral loads in over 90% of these patients.
