Christina Andrade, Pharm.D., BCPS, NCPS, started in the USPHS Indian Health Service in Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC) in 2008 as a summer intern. She then graduated from Oregon State University in 2010, where she was selected for a PGY-1 Residency in Pharmacy Practice at GIMC in Gallup, New Mexico, and stayed as Lead Clinical Pharmacist in the Emergency Department after graduating from her residency. She was selected as the 2014 JR Clinical Pharmacist of the Year in the Indian Health Service and 2017 Clinical Pharmacist in Public Health Service. She then served in San Antonio with the Department of Defense/Defense Health Agency in 2017 and now works as a Clinical Pharmacist with ICE Health Service Corps (IHSC) near Houston, Texas – serving with the Advanced Practitioner Provider Team, where she focuses on chronic diseases, immunizations, HIV, STIs, and transgender care in one of IHSC’s busiest facilities.
