Izzy serves as the director of project management and operations. She received her master’s in public health focused in health policy from the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington. Prior, she graduated from the University of Georgia, where she obtained a bachelor’s of science in biology and a minor in global health.

Throughout her career, Izzy has contributed to impacting business outcomes through effective organization, prioritization, and execution of key projects. As Director at the GTMRx Institute, she grew the number of workgroups from 4 to 12 (200%), the number of workgroup participants from 15 to 180+, and managed content and production of 290+ resources in three years. In addition, she expanded operations by hiring an Office Coordinator and leading the internship program while building protocol from the bottom up in regards to workgroup meetings, project deliverables, events, policy letters, and survey analysis.

Prior to this, she served as the Assistant Director at the Eurasia Center, where she assisted a program for refugees by fundraising, wrote papers on geopolitical and global health current events, and supported global events (i.e., Silk Road Conference, BRICS Conference). Additionally, Izzy has worked at a revenue cycle partner for complex claims working with hospital liens, in a research lab focused on molecular biology, and within an epidemiology lab.

In her free time, Izzy has attended health policy summits and committee hearings, campaigned for a candidate running for Virginia State Senator, and canvassed for DC Healthlink in order to spread awareness of insurance open enrollment. Izzy hopes to offer a unique perspective to the GTMRx Institute team with her background in both domestic health policy and global health.
