Susan Huang, MD, joined America’s Physician Groups (APG) as Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in October of 2022. As CMO and as a key member of APG’s leadership team, Dr. Huang is the lead contact with APG’s member organizations on clinical matters related to their participation in value-based care. Along with APG’s Washington, DC-based, and California-based policy and advocacy teams, she serves as lead clinical liaison with federal and state agencies, hospitals and health systems, health plans, and other organizations. Dr. Huang oversees the collection and sharing of APG member best practices and analyses of member data demonstrating APG groups’ strong performance and accountability for costs and quality of care.
